PKPoppy122224

Our sister Haiku club, Maui Hototogisu Kai (MHK) had its September Kukai on Sept. 9th.

Kendai (proposed seasonal word) of the month were: grapes and a word “Sawayaka” which means “cool and clear” in Japanese to express the autumn atmosphere.

The “moon” at all stage of shapes or shades (from full moon to crescent moon or, even the “no moon (due to the rain))” is also a featuring Kidai (seasonal word) of the month.

Let us share here one of the Ku which was presented at the MHK Kukai  — original in Japanese):     月の眉「またあそぼね」と手を振る児    (神崎富貴)
